As President and Co-Founder of energi PR, Esther brought more than 30 years of brand development and strategic counsel to a range of clients in the consumer, lifestyle, health and wellness arenas. More than that, Esther brought unparalleled passion for the profession of communications. She enjoyed no greater satisfaction than to provide strategic insights and come up with successful solutions to the myriad of issues faced by our clients.
Her leadership and expertise in corporate and stakeholder communications, strategic planning, issues and reputation management, crisis preparedness and Corporate Social Responsibility program development and implementation produced exceptional results for leading Canadian and international brands. An APR and Fellow of the Canadian Public Relations Society, Esther was active in industry and community relations including serving as a regular guest lecturer and panel expert at the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management and MBA programs. She was admired and respected by her team, clients, and colleagues throughout the world.
In 2020 and at the height of a global pandemic, Esther faced the greatest challenge of her life, incurable brain cancer. A true force of nature, she confronted her prognosis with grace, courage, and humour. Sadly, she left all of us on May 14, 2022, heartbroken, but with determination to continue the legacy that she and her business partner, co-founder and dear friend Carol Levine began in 1990. Her energi lives on.
