The Strength of Global Collaboration

Par Carol Levine, Cofondatrice et chef de la direction

As a mid-sized Canadian based PR and corporate communications agency, boasting over 30 years of expertise in healthcare public relations, energi PR is also in the fortunate position to be able to lean on big shoulders when it comes to delivering PR excellence on a global scale through our affiliation with Global Health Marketing and Communications (GHMC).

At least once a month I have the privilege of connecting virtually with my GHMC colleagues and PR agency partners from around the globe.  We’ve managed to find a time slot that respects the multiple time zones.  Some of us are fresher than others but our time together is always an example of international collaboration at its finest.   Our next in-person Annual General Meeting is set to take place outside London this coming September.

As a Canadian agency specialized in life sciences and consumer health, I’ve come to recognize that Canada is not one of the major markets in the global pharma landscape.

When we were recruited to join this exclusive network almost eight years ago it was due to the fact that energi PR met the high standards of performance and accomplishment to be able to support the network’s leading biopharma, health tech, consumer health and pharma client activities in the Canadian market as well as partner on global and regional business opportunities.

As a network of independent PR agencies, we offer our clients the best of both worlds, the flexibility that comes with owner managed companies along with processes that answer to no one but our client’s unique needs and challenges. The result is the ability to adapt quickly, and bring together and deliver fully integrated, strategy-first solutions regardless of the geography.

Unlike other network models that are competitive in nature – where who “owns” the business is top of mind – Global Health Marketing Communications (GHMC) promotes a more human association channelling local insights efficiently and authentically into integrated marketing and communications programs that drive change.

We support our partners, and they support us. No one pays the other for participation on pitches nor for research requests and advice.  We work cohesively to deliver best in class results.

energi PR, though modest in size, looms large with ties to partners on six continents including Spectrum Science Communications in the United States, Fischer Appelt in Germany, Aurora Communications in the UK or VIVA in Australia. Together we have served 20 of the top 20 companies in pharma, biotech, health tech and consumer health.
